The letter L can be deceptive. It may seem like it’s pronounced the same in Spanish and in English, but it’s not! Watch this video to find out how to pronounce the L more like a native Spanish speaker.
Remember – having an accent is nothing to be ashamed of! Think of it as your badge of honor that you are putting in the hard work, taking those learning risks, and tackling the monumental task of learning another language. Don’t let not sounding exactly like a native speaker discourage you. If you do want to make your Spanish sound more like a native speaker though, tweaking how you pronounce the L is a great way to start!
